A removable thermoformed back panel increases comfort while hiking and doubles as an emergency bivy pad. The back panel can be stored in the same pocket as the shoulder straps for hauling. The differentiated length main haul straps on the top double as lashing straps for ropes and other gear. The interior main compartment features one large zip pocket and a dedicated gear loop.
